A bottle of 100 BPC-157 capsules from Real Peptides is listed at $120.00 (US dollars), more than three times the price of the cheapest freeze-dried vial we track. That price gap is the main thing UK readers notice about oral BPC-157, and this page sets the capsule option against the vials so you can see what the extra cost buys and what it does not.
All of these products are sold as research compounds in this context. BPC-157 is not a licensed drug in the UK, and nothing in this does not serve as a guide for taking these.
Of the two vendors we track, only Real Peptides lists an oral BPC-157 product: BPC-157 Capsules, 100 capsules per bottle, with a third-party COA. Peptide God lists no oral format, and says so in its own product notes.
All of our other products are in the form of freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder. For a UK reader, this means that only one of the two suppliers’ capsule options is listed, the user needs to check if this supplier ships to the UK before continuing. We do not know if any of the suppliers would ship to the UK.
Compared to vials, capsules cost significantly more for the amount of peptide obtained, as noted by the vendor who lists "significantly more expensive than vials per mg of peptide" as one of its disadvantages.
| Product | Vendor | Format | Size | Price (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BPC-157 Capsules | Real Peptides | Oral capsule | 100 capsules | $120.00 |
| BPC-157 10mg | Real Peptides | Freeze-dried powder | 10 mg vial | $43.20 |
| BPC-157 | Peptide God | Freeze-dried powder | 5 mg vial | $34.95 |
Per item, a capsule works out at $1.20. The higher bottle price does at least mean a single capsule order goes further towards the vendor's $250 free-shipping threshold, though that is a US term and says nothing about UK delivery.
In its own listing, the vendor mentions that "lower bioavailability expected as compared to injectable", which suggests that when ingested orally, only a smaller quantity of the peptide reaches the blood. It is indeed a very telling statement found on the vendor's page.
Peptides in general tend to break down in the digestive system, which is why oral forms are often expected to perform differently from other routes. There are no controlled human trials of BPC-157 by any route, so there is no human evidence comparing capsules with vials. BPC-157 remains in pre-clinical stages. We cover what the animal work does show on our BPC-157 benefits page.
The most common mistake is believing that capsules are a safer or better option for consumption due to their appearance similar to any other supplement. That is WRONG; they are simply an unapproved research chemical presented in a different form.
Another error is the evaluation of vials and capsules based solely on the price of the bottle. The vendor itself indicates that capsules have much higher cost per milligram, so the vials that look cheaper from a price point of view may actually provide better value. The third mistake involves taking the COA of the capsule as an indication of its effectiveness. COA just states the contents, but it does not say anything about the effects of the product, and the benefits of BPC-157 in humans have not been proven in clinical trials.
Due to their convenience, capsules are the primary choice of consumers because they are sold preprepared unlike vials which contain powdered substances. Real Peptides highlights this in its advantages of capsules as their convenient applications in studies administered orally.
We do not give instructions for preparing or using vials, and there is no approved human dose for either format. What we can say is that the choice between formats is not a choice between proven options. Both are unlicensed, both rely on the vendor's COA for evidence of contents, and neither has been shown to treat anything in people. Our page on why there is no approved BPC-157 dose explains why we stop there.
The oral BPC-157 checks are similar as those for vials apart from one detail: the COA should be for the capsule version of the product and not the vial version.
If a gut problem is behind your search, please speak to your GP or pharmacist. Licensed treatments exist for many digestive conditions, and an unlicensed capsule is not a substitute for a diagnosis. For the full ordering checklist, see our buy BPC-157 UK page.
Discounts shown are real: the vendor’s own sale price, or how much cheaper per mg a product is than the average of the vendors on this page.
